Adhesion failure

After a successful application, the applicator cannot be removed normally; the sensor is pulled out along with the applicator when removed.

② Possible Causes

This may result from uncleaned skin with dirt or sweat, failing to let alcohol dry fully after skin cleaning, or excessive force when removing the applicator.

Note: Please share the case in the group chat if these causes are ruled out.

1. Clean and Disinfect: Wash the application area with soap and water or use an alcohol wipe. This removes oils that act as a barrier to adhesion. Wipe an area slightly larger than the sensor itself.
2. Ensure Complete Dryness: This is a critical step. After cleaning, wait for 2-3 minutes to allow the skin to air-dry completely before applying the sensor. Do not fan or blow on the area, as this can introduce contaminants.
3. Smooth the Skin: For users with wrinkled skin or looser skin texture, gently flatten the skin with one hand during the application to ensure a smooth, seamless fit with no gaps or folds under the adhesive patch.
4. Gentle removal: Gently remove the applicator. If it feels stuck, try twisting it left or right.

This is a very rare situation that can occur if the applicator parts fit more tightly than expected, making it difficult to separate the applicator from the sensor. To ensure your monitoring is not interrupted, we will provide a goodwill replacement for the sensor.

To help reduce the chance of this happening in the future:

• Please make sure the alcohol at the application site is completely dry before applying the sensor.
• If the applicator feels unusually difficult to remove, check the connection carefully and remove it slowly and gently, avoiding twisting or strong pulling.
