Guide Needle Retention

The guide needle is visibly stuck inside the small hole of the sensor (as shown in the reference image)

② Possible Causes

This situation can occasionally occur when the sensor is not assembled correctly – for example, if it was not placed on a hard, flat surface during assembly, or if the safety clip was removed prematurely.

Reassure the customer that while this is not common, it can happen and is not necessarily due to user error alone.

 

③ Suggestions for users

For now:
The guide needle stuck in the sensor can be manually removed by the customer. However, we do not recommend continuing to wear this sensor, as its performance may be affected

For future use:

1. During the wearing process, if the safety clip is prematurely removed during assembly, or if the transmitter has been prematurely pressed and then reassembled, it may lead to the retention of the guide needle. Therefore, it is essential not to remove the safety clip prematurely during assembly. It should only be removed after successful assembly, just before application.
2. Before assembly, please inspect the components package and the adhesive patch. If any abnormalities are found, please take photos and contact customer service for after-sales support.
3. When assembling, pressing all the way down vertically on a hard, flat surface can effectively prevent misalignment or pickup failures.
4. Avoid assembling while holding the device in your hands or on soft surfaces like beds or sofas, as this may result in incomplete pressing.
