| Description |
| Blood appears through the circular hole. |
①Possible Causes
During wearing, the guide needle needs to penetrate the epidermis and dermis to implant the electrode into the interstitial fluid between tissues. Due to the high density of capillaries in this layer, if the needle happens to pierce a densely vascularized area during application, it may cause slight bleeding, which is considered a normal occurrence.
②Explaining the reason and giving a suggestion
Script:
Thank you for reaching out. We completely understand your concern, and please rest assured—this is usually a normal, occasional occurrence and not a cause for alarm.
When our sensor is applied, the small guiding needle may sometimes touch a tiny blood vessel under the skin, which can result in mild bleeding. Think of it like a fingertip blood test—similar minor bleeding can happen, and it's generally harmless.
What you can do:
- Gently press the area with a clean tissue to stop the bleeding.
- Once it stops, you may continue wearing the sensor as usual.
- Avoid applying pressure or bumping the sensor, as this could cause the site to bleed again.
When to seek medical attention (Important):
If the bleeding does not stop within 24 hours, or if the bleeding is heavy, continuous, or accompanied by pain, swelling, or signs of infection (such as redness, spreading, or warmth), please remove the sensor immediately and consult a healthcare professional as soon as possible. Your health and safety come first.
